Dragon of Icespire Peak

Good morrow, fellow adventurers!

My name is Adam and I am, potentially, your next Dungeon Master! I've been playing and running Dungeons and Dragons games for nearly three years now with much hijinks and shenanigans at the forefront of my games!

A little bit about me…

I value a good mix of the three pillars of play - Roleplay, Exploration, and Combat. However, each group is different, some love getting their axes bloody, others spend hours in a tavern roleplaying away! After I get a feel for a group, we'll discuss and find out what we as a party enjoy the most and I shall adjust the campaign to fit those preferences!

You thought I was asleep, didn’t you? Acting! A DM who has a background in acting so is always ready to throw himself into daft roles at the drop of a hat!
Only a message away! We will have an active Discord which will include, meme channels, roleplay text channels, general chat stuff!
Always happy to help! Should you be new to the game, no problem! I’ll be happy to help with any questions you might have about builds, roleplay, the campaign, just let me know and I’ll do my best to help out.
What’s your story? PM me directly and lets build a backstory together! I much prefer games where we see characters go on personal journeys rather than what’s written in the book.

Whoooooo are you? Whoo!, Whoo! There's room for each type of player at my metaphorical table. Do you like building optimized characters? Me too! Do you value playing a completely unconventional character/ An Orc Wizard? A Gnome Paladin? A Halfling Barbarian? Unheard of I hear you say? Not at this table!
Character Creation
- 27 point buy or if you’re feeling lucky, roll!
- Characters begin at level 3. Depending on how we go, the game could end at level 13!
- No UA folks!
- Include a fear. This is something I find really fun in my games, is your character afraid of spiders? Heights? Pumpkins? Would be an awful shame if the party ended up in a floating castle run by a giant tarantula hosting a Halloween party, wouldn’t it….

Be polite/kind to other players (We are all here for the same reason, be awesome to one another)
Show up on time and ready to play (If you have to be late be courteous and inform me and the other players ASAP)

90% Attendance Rate (You're paying for this, so be here. Groups fall apart all the time because people miss often or just flake. We want to avoid this at all cost. Consider this a commitment to yourself and your fellow players; show up. We understand life and emergencies happen, so if you absolutely MUST miss; be courteous and inform me and your fellow players ASAP)

Have Internet, a Microphone, and Discord (games will be played via roll20 but with voice chat via Discord)

The Adventure

Driven from lands farther north by more powerful dragons, a young white dragon named Cryovain has descended upon the Sword Mountains, claiming the snow-capped range as its domain. Typical of its kind, Cryovain is dim-witted and cruel. The dragon patrols the skies around Icespire Peak, surveying its territory while hunting for food and easy treasure. With each passing day, the dragon’s domain grows as it ranges farther across the land, preying on anything it can catch with its claws or freeze to death with its icy breath. Sightings of the dragon are becoming more common, as are its attacks.
